It is the vision of Imam Mahdi Education Center that we will unite around the global community will join hands in helping Muslims realize and achieve their potentials.

Imam Mahdi Education Center of Maryland is a group dedicated to propagating the teachings of the Holy Quran, the Holy Prophet, and the Holy Ahlul - Bait in the promotion of Love, Respect, Tolerance, and Harmony among all human beings and among all Muslims in particular.

It is the vision of Imam Mahdi Education Center that all Muslims, with the help of most modern education together with the spiritual awareness of Allah, His Prophets, and Imams, will strive for and achieve their highest potential.

By the grace of almighty Allah, and the 14 Ma'sumeen (Infallibles), we have organized this site to provide and update you with information regarding our activities conducted here at Imam Mahdi Education Center

Some of our goals are:

- To organize and promote religious and Edducational activities pursuant to Shia faith of Islam as preached by Prophet Mohammed (S.A.W.W) and Aale-Mohammed (A.S.).
- To provide religious services and educattion, social ceremonies, such as majalis, jashns, marriages and funerals and to promote Shia Islamic fundamentals and codes.
- To promote and enhance mutual understandding, cooperation and unity among the Shia Muslims here and throughout the world.
- To facilitate the observation of Islamicc and religious occasions such as daily congregation prayers, Friday prayers, Eid reunions, Majalis, religious processions, programs, deliberations, and other special services.
